Pokémon TCG Delta Reign: Mega Rayquaza ex arrives November 6

Pokémon TCG: Mega Evolution – Delta Reign releases on November 6, 2026. The new expansion brings Mega Rayquaza ex back to the Pokémon TCG and introduces a new kind of Stadium card. In this article we cover everything that has been officially confirmed: the release date, the key cards, the products and when you can already play the set at prereleases.

When does Delta Reign release?

Delta Reign is in stores worldwide from November 6, 2026. Prefer playing digitally? The set arrives in Pokémon TCG Live one day earlier, on November 5.

Want the cards even sooner? Prerelease events start on October 24, 2026 at participating Play! Pokémon stores. There you play with a Build & Battle Box: a ready-made kit to build a deck on the spot and jump straight into a tournament.

Mega Rayquaza ex and the other stars of Delta Reign

The headliner is Mega Rayquaza ex. It is the first time since the XY – Ancient Origins expansion that Mega Rayquaza returns to the Pokémon TCG. For collectors who remember that era, that alone is a reason to look forward to this set.

Next to Mega Rayquaza ex, the set includes three more new Mega Evolution ex cards:

• Mega Golurk ex
• Mega Malamar ex
• Mega Golisopod ex

In total, Delta Reign has more than 135 cards, including Trainer cards and cards with special illustrations. Those special illustrations are traditionally the cards collectors chase most.

New in Delta Reign: Legendary Stadiums

Delta Reign introduces Legendary Stadiums: Stadium cards that are played as a pair. You combine two Stadium cards, and placed side by side they form one continuous illustration. Fun for players, and great for collectors who like a well-organised binder: a pair looks best next to each other on a binder page.

Which Delta Reign products are coming?

Delta Reign arrives in the familiar product range, including:

• Elite Trainer Box
• Booster Display with 36 booster packs
• Booster Bundle with 6 booster packs
• 3-pack blister and checklane blisters
• Build & Battle Box (first at the prereleases)

What's in the Delta Reign Elite Trainer Box?

For many collectors, the Elite Trainer Box is where a new set starts. The Delta Reign ETB contains:

• 9 Delta Reign booster packs
• 1 full-art foil promo card of Kyogre
• 65 card sleeves
• 40 Energy cards
• Damage-counter dice, a coin, a player's guide and a storage box with dividers

Collecting Delta Reign: protect your pulls right away

Pulled a Mega Rayquaza ex or one of the special illustrations? Put it straight into a soft sleeve and then a sturdy toploader. That prevents scratches and dinged corners and keeps the card in top condition, which makes a big difference if you want to get it graded later.
