The time has come for the release date of League of Legends - Riftbound's first set of "Origins" has been set!

The time has finally come: the release date for Riftbound: League of Legends Trading Card Game has been set! The highly anticipated card game will be released worldwide on October 15, 2025 , with a launch in China this summer and a wider rollout in English-speaking countries in October.

What is Riftbound?

Riftbound is Riot Games' first physical trading card game (TCG), set in the League of Legends universe. The first set, titled Origins , features over 300 cards with original art of iconic champions such as Jinx, Garen, Lux, Yasuo, Lee Sin, Annie, Viktor, Volibear, Master Yi, and Ahri.

Game Modes and Products

The game supports several modes:

• 1v1

• 2v2

• Free-for-all multiplayer

At launch, several products will be available:

• Champion Decks (56 cards around a specific champion)

• 14-card booster packs

• Proving Grounds Starter Set (for 2–4 players, with decks around Lux, Annie, Master Yi, and Garen)
